Portage Lake

Description:

Porrtage is located at the end of Turnagain Arm. Beginner terrain on a flat lake. Park at the Begich-Boggs Visitor Center. The Byron and Portage glaciers flow into the east end of the lake.

Wind:

The wind is a bit gusty but will be better in the middle of the lake.
